Sergio,
If your H3 is the same as my H2, the GUI server message is presented if
mvprelay can't be reached..
Here is the way that my H3 starts up:
1. Checking Ethernet Connectivity
2. Loading Application
3. Starting Application
4. Configuring Wired Device
5. Screen goes black for a second
6. Checking Network Status
7. Press ok within 3 seconds to enter the setup screen
8. When I press ok, this is where I can see the Linux box, if I do not
run mvprelay there is no option for the Linux box here, so mvprelay must be
communicating with the MVP somehow. If I select the Linux box, then I get a
checking the network status message again and then the contacting servers
and failed to locate GUI message. In the TCP stream I just get SYN followed
by RST, ACK on the GUI Protocol and Media Protocol ports.
My comment about taking the Hauppauge server off the NW when trying to boot
from Linux still stands. Reduce the number of variables, get it to boot,
then try having two servers on the network.
Agreed. I am just trying all avenues to see if anything works that seems to
have worked on the older versions, including H2.
