Excellent, let us know if you run into any problems.
 >>things that people have noticed which need to be worked on:
-buffer reset logic occasionally allows for repeating of the first
several seconds of a track when skipping around.
-some types of album cover graphic files are causing mclient to reset
when used with SlimServer 6.3. A really old version which is distributed
with debian (however, after a recent upgrade, my debian/slimserver setup
stopped working - it may be this version of slimserver is so old that it
no longer works with other utilities like muSQL??).

Sounds like you are using wireless? This has always been a problem and
has received a-lot of traffic on this list.

I don't watch videos this way so I can't help much. But...

What is your source? The mvpmc's hardware can only handle NTSC/PAL type
resolution. If you try to push it ASTC (i.e. HD-TV) it will just give
you a black screen. If you are running a VLC server a trick people use
to watch high def videos is to transcode the video w/VLC at the server
before it is set to the mvpmc box. Note, need a beefy server to do this.

This might be a "check you mind at the door" thing, but if you are
throttling the samba server, then wouldn't there be problems if you were
trying to push/pull more than that amount of band width?

...D'oh, I just remembered you said a wired connection works, right?
Hum, I'd say have a look through the archives and find what others have
to say about connecting wirelessly - if that's what you are after.
