It is a new table handler which is being developed by the folks at
NuSphere (www.nusphere.com).
Like the new Innobase table handler it offers row-level locking,
transactions, and lots of other goodies.
Very soon you'll be able to choose from 6 different table types in
your MySQL applications:
ISAM
MyISAM
HEAP
BDB
Innobase
Gemini
