I have been doing nails for 24 years and I have never accepted credit cards
because of the fees. I got a Square and I love it. The fees are reasonable and
I can run it on my iPad.

You are right Sue, it would be an increase in costs for you to upgrade your
phone. I already had the iPad that I decided was worth it for all the things
that I use it for. It is up to you if the upgraded phone is worth the $ to you.
If you are getting it for the Square only, I say that it is not worth it.
However, having your charges and fees separate from anyone else in the salon is
worth a lot IMHO. Think about how much you would use your new phone. Remember,
if you use the phone primarily for business, it is tax deductible, including
any and all fees associated with the phone. If you really would not use the new
phone for anything business related except the Square, I say, not worth it.
Tough decision for you.
