Greetings-
I am a fledgling user of NM3 and the question I need
answered is: Why is there such a delay from when I speak, to when my partner
hears it, but when they speak, it is broadcast instantly to my PC with no
delay? I am using a Pentium III, 500 Megahertz, 128 MB of RAM and my
partner is using a system that is slower than mine. Our ISP conection is
pretty much the same. Mine is on avg. 44,000bps and my partner's is about
49,000bps. Could someone please help me with an explanation to why my end
is getting excellent braodcast speed, but my partner is getting at least a 3
to 4 second delay, sometimes worse, sometimes better. Any help in this
matter would be greatly appreciated. We are both using the medium picture
to broadcast with, and I am at my wits end in figuring this out. I am sure
that there are multiple factors involved, but anything I can do at my end to
improve this situation, will be of great help. Thanks in advance.
