Add a line like the following to your /etc/fstab file. The hdc is for the
secondary master ide controller where I have my zip. "a" is for primary
master, "b" is for primary slave, etc. The 4 normally means 4th partition, but
this is something required for zip drives apparently.

/dev/hdc4               /mnt/zip                vfat    
sync,user,noauto,nosuid,nodev,unhide 0 0

Also make sure your permissions are in order. Log on as root and set the owner
and group on the desktop file for your zip drive in each home directory so that
they can be accessed without super user privileges. --  ...Jack
