hi richard, it's 'update', as in
    urpmi --update --auto-select

generally, you shouldn't do a pure
    urpmi --auto-select
unless you only have the original mandrake
installation (and update) sources defined,
or you know very well what u're trying to do.
(eg, run cooker)
