I get to the part where it asks to choose what to do. I'm not exactly sure if it freezes, I think it might just be that it doesn't recognize the keystrokes...or something like that. I think the hd problem occured when you told me to add that --premount parameter. It must have been forced to do something to the partition. I'm not sure if I'm making sense or if this is unintelligible mumbling, but I know that's what caused it. Odd too, everything went alright except for the fact that it couldn't find my /home directory. Probably hadn't mounted hda7.
