But ya, Robin's suggestion is probably a good one, I'm not sure as I never mess with KDE/KDM (which may explain why I don't even have an /etc/X11/kdm dir on my system...)
well I am in trouble then! I am using mdkkdm (and have been for some time) and I also have no /etc/X11/kdm directory!!!
