Reinstall Win2000, this will do an 'upgrade' of your info > and set up the bootsector again. Win2000 will only let your reinstall which will re-rewrite everything, and all data will be lost. It tells you this should you choose to do so. I went through this the first time. W98 will allow you to just install over what you have without any problems, but not so in W2K. Regards, Gary
