not as far as i know, where r u moving it? it shouldn't really matter, i
move my computers long distances and they don't get damaged, r u turning the
machine off or just moving it around on?

Is there a linux command, similar to shiptrak (I think) which one invokes
when about to move a computer physically. This is a command to stabilize the
reading head on the harddrive.
