I've got the original SB Live!, and my LM 7.2 worked out of the box. All SB
Lives use the EMU401K chip (think that's the right identifier; I'm at work
right now); what happens if you "insmod emu401k"?

BTW ... yes, kernel 2.4 also includes support for this chip.
