Jeez, I wanna get rid of Windows too. However, our business accounts are
in Windows and although I'm planning on using GnuCash, I don't want to
re-key in all transactions for the current financial year so have to wait
until April next year! Other than that, I have no need for Windows
whatsoever. I don't even play games on my pc. What makes it worse is
that I have to boot Windows _every_ day to access our accounts. And while
in there, if I urgently need to send an email or look something up in the
net, I have to boot back into linux because I refuse to connect to the net
with Windows - I most certainly agree with Tom on that one!

A while back, I got Wine to work with our Windows accounting software but
after reinstalling linux I can't seem to get Wine to work anymore :-(

I'm _really_ looking forward to getting rid of Windows and if I _really_
need to use it (would have to be an emergency), I have the entire
partition on CDRs (image file) which only takes minutes to copy back onto
a hard drive. After all, why take up hd space with something you're not
going to use?

skinky
