The cd's we were giving out are a version of linux called knoppix. You can get a copy at:
http://mirror.usu.edu/mirrors/knoppix/KNOPPIX_V3.1-2003-01-20-EN.iso As for emacs for windows get this version: http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/windows/emacs/latest/emacs-21.2-fullbin-i386.tar.gz To open the file you will need a program that understands .tar.gz files (WinZip, PowerArchiver, and InfoZip) come to mind. They should allow you to extract it to a directory that you can run it from. +-------------+---------------------------------------------+ | Byron Clark | GnuPG Fingerprint: 0365 6979 6C3E BC0C 56C0 | | | FB7F 12B3 75DD 042B EA68 | +-------------+---------------------------------------------+ On Tue, Mar 04, 2003 at 05:51:50PM -0700, justin bradley wrote: > > > > Hi- > I have a question.
