THey cruise best if you keep it above 3000 RPM. Japanese bikes in general are high performance Horsepower machines. Most sport bikes don't like being below 4-5K RPM and don't come alive to 7-9K RPM. So you're Nighthawk lugging at below 2K RPM is normal. Its not a Harley. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
