(finally things get interesting again) On one hand I understand
Faust's concerns. On the other, I feel that he is the only one making
his concerns a reality. Personally, I would like to see this group
become a legalized organization with rules, goals, and a mission. It
would be great if the OGF had the budget to put out its own open d20
products or use its "power" to do something good.

However, instead of continuing to complain or wait until I have the
chance to be further involved in the OGF I decided to form my own
nonprofit organization. It's goals won't conflict with the OGF but we
will be attempting to serve the gaming community in a specific way. I
think it's sad because I know everything will take me 10 times as long to
do as it would someone like Ryan, but my point is that if you all have
visions for the gaming community or if you are not happy with the OGF...
simply do your own thing.... Don't wait for it to do everything for you.

If you are going to stay here do your best to make it work for you
without causing harm to the organization or leave.
