Here's my impression of how it works.

The D20SRD is a document (or docusments) that contain the information
that makes up the D20 system. It is released under the OGL.

Any game material that uses this information must also be put under the
OGL so that other people can use..... (this is where I'm confused.)

The only time you must use the d20stl is if you want to put that nifty
d20 logo on the cover.

Question:
If I want to use *Some* of the d20SRD mechanics, but heavily modify the
character creation system.... as in, put it in with changes. Then I
release it under OGL, but NOT the d20 STL.
Is that okay?
