Earlier on this list, we had a discussion about whether a publisher who uses
open game content has any kind of obligation to include some of their own
new open content in the work. I think the Web or print publishers whose only
service is aggregating the open content of others are going to run headlong 
into
that issue.

Personally, though I'm strongly in favor of publishers opening as much content
as they are comfortable with, I don't think I would contribute material as a
publisher to Faust's proposed database. If I'm an open game developer who
wants to do a Freeport module, for instance, I think buying Green Ronin's Death
in Freeport is a small price to pay for the opportunity to reuse the open 
content
in the book.
