Hmmm.  According to that chart (and thank you for highlighting sir) I have a 
55-57 261 head on a 58-62 261 block?  With a passenger car rocker box!  And 
it's green.  The bulbous oil filter housing appears to be yellow.  I'll clean 
it up and get some pictures.  It's starting to smack of John Deere.
