Last year I attended a Congress in Argentina which pogram was organized
according the preferences of the potential attendees gathered months before
through a social network. Verey web 2.0, very openEHR. e also had
difficulties in approving panels and workshop related to this theme before
in our national congresses, we?re never in the main room, but this year our
workshop was by far the most attended. Lots of young clinicians, Y
generation, many of them working on mhealth startups, ipad EHRs,clinical
decision support systems, health social networks and other health 2.0
initiatives, all of them knowing exactly the value of the bloody data.
Times are a changing, and fast. Scientific committees os Informatics
Congresses also have to enter the 2.0 era and interact more timely with the
audience. I?m sure our workshop would be a blast and would attract a new
audience to the congress, which is this new generation. They are not
informaticians, they are naturals....
