know off-hand what the ASF's position with respect to the
Creative Commons license is?

Seems that it is allowed to include CCA Share Alike data,
thats BTW what wikinews is using. Could be a nice source
for training data.

Exactly. I would really like to create some training data
that's under a permissive license. It's surprising how
little of that there is in general. It would be a lot of
work, but maybe we'll find help.
