Hi Kristof, no; the RISC-V OpenOCD fork resides here: https://github.com/riscv/riscv-openocd/ This is where the development of RISC-V support takes place and where multiple developers contribute. And I am not the author, merely a contributor.
(My personal riscv-openocd repo is just a personal space to work on individual little contributions.) I personally do not plan any work on supporting GigaDevice chips. Kind regards, Jan On Wed, Sep 16, 2020 at 5:42 PM <kristof.mul...@telenet.be> wrote: > Hi Jan, > > Thank you very much for your reply. > I noticed you have forked OpenOCD on GitHub and you added RISC-V support: > https://github.com/JanMatCodasip/riscv-openocd > > Do you by accident also support the GigaDevice microcontrollers with > RISC-V core? > If not - would the patches that GigaDevice sent me > (see *https://new.embeetle.com/downloads/openocd_riscv_patch.rar* > <https://new.embeetle.com/downloads/openocd_riscv_patch.rar> ) > be helpful for your fork? > > Hopefully you can push your RISC-V support to the OpenOCD master branch. > That would be awesome ^_^ > > Kind regards, > Kristof Mulier > > ------------------------------ > *Van: *"Jan Matyáš" <jmat...@codasip.com> > *Aan: *"kristof mulier" <kristof.mul...@telenet.be> > *Cc: *"openocd-devel" <openocd-devel@lists.sourceforge.net> > *Verzonden: *Woensdag 16 september 2020 15:49:23 > *Onderwerp: *Re: [OpenOCD-devel] Patch for RISC-V microcontrollers from > GigaDevice causes build trouble > > Dear Kristof, > > I only had a moment to look at the Jenkins build result: > > http://build.openocd.org/job/openocd-gerrit-build/TARGET=mingw64/lastFailedBuild/console > > Based on the log, it appears that the build failed due to code style > issues (as checked by the checkpatch.pl script). > You may wish to point your contact person at GigaDevice at this log so > that they can update their code accordingly (fix the code style), provided > they intend to upstream the code. > > Kind regards, > Jan > > > On Wed, Sep 16, 2020 at 12:45 PM <kristof.mul...@telenet.be> wrote: > >> Dear Developers, >> >> I applied the patch from GigaDevice (see my earlier mail) on the >> OpenOCD source code.
