Sure.  That's just not the so-called "OpenSolaris" or Indiana release.
You're talking about the traditional SXCE image, which is a full DVD's
worth of Solaris plus additional software.  It includes multiple
compilers and proprietary drivers (that the Indiana project omits),
and (other than the installer and packaging tools) it's based on the
same source code.
