Hello,

How about just 'out' for print? To go along with out.println etc.
Yes, as this aligns better with JSTL. The syntax of <ww:out ...> should probably be the same or a superset of <c:out ...>.

I'm a little uncomfortable with the names as they currently stand too.
Perhaps the 'context' tag could be renamed 'expose', and then 'focus' could
become 'context' - or maybe one of 'nested', 'location', 'locate',
'position'? Of those, 'location' is probably my favourite option.

Alternatives for 'print' could be 'output', 'render', 'display' - although I
don't think you can go too far wrong with any of these choices.

[print, context, focus]

Those three tags are ok, but I'm not sure about the names. Before I had
read about them I thought "context" did was "focus" do (i.e. pushing the
result of evaluating a property to the stack).

Any better name suggestions?

This is the really hard part about these tags unfortunately. I think
"context" is good for putting stuff into the pageContext. As for "focus",
I've gone through a whole bunch of names in discussions in #java (in
chronological order):
- push (might be bad if someone wants a tag that ONLY pushes, plus it's
not

that intuitive of a name)
- walk
- cd (yes, change directory :P)
- context (discarded as it conflicts with the third use of the property
tag

which I didn't know at the time)
- focus

I've tried real hard to come up with better ones, but as it stands I think
walk, cd and focus are best.
