FYI: I have been trying to mavenize OSCore in attempt to see if it's worth all the fuss. I must say, I'm not too impressed. I finally got it to build oscore's jar file correctly, but not after quite a wrestling match. And now the site won't generate since the latest version of maven from CVS HEAD (needed for other reasons) is having trouble. Sigh... it's just far too early for maven, maybe this time next year...
In the meantime, this does bring up an interesting point: Maven's "cookie cutter" site generation does have some nice features in it (unit test results, mailing list info, cvs info, structured docs, etc). But as Robert just suggested, maybe we can just provide some and build scripts that are standard for OpenSymphony that do most of these. Thoughts? -Pat ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Nicholson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, December 13, 2002 12:36 AM Subject: Re: [OS-webwork] Documentation > Well maven appears to be a build system that replaces a lot of > functionality that ant already provides.
