I am working on porting a midi filter application running on Windows to Linux.
At one point I put about 6 months into development of a distro of Linux that
we could never quite get off the ground due to the lead developer having some
family problems. I have poured lots of time into open source projects and
finances into open source. I believe the the sum of around $15,000. dollars
into paying open source developers to work on apps. I could get you exact
numbers.

I have also dedicated my computing to Linux to the point where we tossed out 2
years worth of coding in Microsoft ASP to provide our clients with open
source solutions. I have spread open source though many School Boards in
Alberta, Canada and continue to push to do so. TSIware our product was then
converted to run on Tomcat and mysql. Do you realize what I lost doing so and
why? So that I could provide people with options.

What about you?

You know I am going to talk to my wife about this but I think your challenge
is great. Lets donate to OSFlash. How much do you want to give. I don't have
as much money as Adobe so what do you want to match me for. Keep it modest.
