The first thing I think is to help out OSFlash. I see nothing wrong with Aral
getting a little help. Even if things are up and running there has been lots
of work to get it this far. I am going to start there. I don't have all the
answers but it would be nice to see some people throw into the pot.

Possibly there is a monthly project selected to recieve the donations from the
community. Or if things get big in monetary terms possibly there could be
multiple projects. I think it is only fair that Open Source takes care of
it's own. That way if big business does come in to take over they would have
to pay people off a whole lot more than they would if people were starving :)

Think of it as a Community insurance policy.

So any suggestions as to how to get this started. I would think that a pay pal
account be set up and monthly donations go in there. Then it gets
distributed. The criteria might be that the project is active or like asdt we
want to see it again active. This might attract developers to the projects.

I say that this funding applies to OSFlash registered projects. It would be
easiest to keep track of then. The funds could be displayed on the OSFlash
website.

Thanks
