Oh the sheltered life you live. Break out of the MS bubble for a while and watch what happens in the real world. Even some dev shops are stuck on VS2008 in the same way as some enterprises are on WinXP. <rant> If you do anything related to the old Windows Mobile platform, for example, you have to use VS2008 - and no, there are some cases where we can't just build a Windows Phone version.
