I want to first thank all of you for advising me to grab the PPc 8550/200.
I got it home and have checked it out a little and this is what I found. It
has memory (don't know how much), daughter card is installed, but no hard
drive. I managed to pick up a 4 gig to try out but now I'm faced with what
OS to use. My end goal is to add a USB 2 port pci card and that'll pretty
much do it until I can afford a G3 upgrade. The reason I bring up the USB
card is that on the Apple knowledge site it says to download one of their
drivers to make the whole USB thing work, but it states I must have at
least os 9.2. My question is: will 9.2 support my older 8550/200? Anyone
have any ideas?
Thanks!
John
