But shouldnt one wait at least until you can afford a processor upgrade, I run both 9.1 and 8.6 on my 7300 and 9 is noticeable slower, just opening and shuttin windows takes a while, compared to 8.6 (which is faster than 8.1!) I have 256 mb ram and no virtual. kenta
