What I couldn't get over is how decent a machine I managed to get for not too much money. At eBay, even now, a much "better" machine like a G3/450 or better are still going for $450+; at least they were at Christmas. I managed to snag a G3/233 for a manageable $151 (with a 17" monitor, too!) and have upgraded the the processor to 350 and added a 256MB card to it. I've seen the Personality cards starting at $20 with full AV but I haven't tracked the final prices.....Oh, the possibilities. Doc, I've got a problem....
