Pamness: The Tsunami motherboard in your 9600 will not support it. Was your 9600 a 233 MHz or lower before you pulled the Motorola 604e and put in the Sonnet G3 ??? Can we assume that you have 6 PCI slots on the 9600 and only 3 on the 8600 ? I just tried to install OS9.2.1 on my own 9600 just to check, both as an upgrade to 9.1 and as a clean install and also tried to use the OS9.2.1 install CD as the StartUp disk. There was a hardware conflict and the message came up that this System will not install or run on this computer. I have had Jaguar running without any trouble (but deleted it) and now use 0S 8.6 almost exclusively, with OS9.1 as a backup.
