Hello Pam:

I never had any luck trying to get 9.2.2 into my 9600/500 (XLR8). The
easiest way to a proper install that I can think of would be to get 9.1 on
the 9600 and then finish the installation on the 8600, or some other machine
that 9.2.2 _will_ install on. The flat out easiest way would be to install
9.2.2 on a machine it _will_ install on (using the 9600's hard disk) and
then switch the disk back to the 9600.

If you can't do this or it won't work, email me for more suggestions.

Incidentally, my 9600 was a great machine, but it had a few glitches that
defied the norm for installs.

                Sincerely yours, Grizzlygiant
