Ok, I am not sure what all I am hearing here. I did use OS 9 helper to install on the 8600/ which is upgraded with a sonnet G3 450 card and I did do it my self. However it would not work on my 9600 which is upgraded with a sonnet G3 500 card. My 9600 does have 9.1 installed. Now if I am hearing that some 9600 motherboards will not install 9.2.2, if I installed it on the drive on another machine, how well will 9.2.2 work on the 9600? Is it just something that prevents it from installing it? By the way, thanks for the input Fred. This is "Gracie" I am trying to upgrade. I have my old 604e processor from the old Power Tower that 9.2.2 was installed on, so I could put that one back in, but I am not sure I want to go through all that trouble and then find it is still not working. Maybe I will just stick with 9.1. As long as it works, guess I should be satisfied. Thanks for everyones input.
