Not that wierd of a question.  Just make sure that you ID jumper it the same 
(probably 3) and can still boot from it, if you are putting it in in place of 
the original...but I haven't actually done it, so...

Possibly may need termination.

I haven't done this for my OS X CD-R drives because there was some issue, like 
not being able to boot from them, or something funny...so I just left external.
