Ralph, I stopped using all the tweaker apps and rely on tweaking the system 
on my own, from Partition Magic to XTeq and others I have had too many apps 
mess with things I could.
I run SFC from the command prompt in win2k with some success, however if 
things really bog down then I run the win2k repair setup, not the repair 
console mind you.
