My wife's computer when she plays sounds from a CD it will play
for a bit and then become scratchy sounding. It is not always in the
same place on the CD or on the same CD. I have changed the
speakers and no change. Anyone have any ideas? This morning
I'm going to copy some music files to her hard drive and play from
there and see if maybe the CD-Rom is doing it. If it does it from
the hard drive also I would guess the sound card is going. Does
that make any sense to anyone?
