Dale, I believe that the blue line you are seeing in your mail is because you are writing mail and sending it in HTML format. If you read the rules of the list you will see that you are supposed to post in plain text only. The list server strips HTML formatting out of messages so when you mix your answers in the text there is no way to tell which is which. There is a place somewhere in your email program to set this.
There is a rules page for the list whose address is posted at the bottom of each message. You should read it. As for your digital camera ... I believe your original post in it's entirety was " Know anything about digital cameras?" That cryptic message along with the subject "Trying to DL.." was all there was. It might be interesting to know what kind of camera, what the real problem is, what you've done to try to fix it, etc. Again, the list rules page has a long passage on what to include in your posts. I personally have found your posts to be sort of frustrating. There is never enough information and from your replies many times I can't tell which suggestions you have tried, if any, and which ones you just ignore. Dale, this is a great list. People are friendly and will work hard to try to help people no matter what their experience level. Read the rules page and try to make more complete posts. The stuff that I write has no blue line next to it and IS indented. This seems to work for nearly everybody else because, so far, you're the only one that has trouble reading my stuff. I tried to send my writing to a friend the other day with what I wrote in blue and what she wrote in the original orange that she used and she told me last night that she couldn't make out what I wrote, but when I just leave my typing in black, she has no problem with it at all. ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
