Yes, the drive put into the storage device was formatted as was any other drive I tried. Some had data on them @ fat32 and some had data @ NTFS and some had no data at all, just formatted. As I mentioned, the storage device with_ any_ type of hard drive inside it can be "seen" and a drive letter allocated when it is connected to my other computer, which is a desktop machine and which also has only USB1 ports fitted.
