Please can anyone help with the following :-
Computer....Toshiba Satellite 1400-S151
Operating system....XP Professional
Having fitted a "Mass Storage Device" and connected it to a USB1 port, any
hard drive I put into it, is with no problem and shows up in "Computer
Management" as alive and well. The problem is that it does not show up in
Windows Explorer as a "drive" which in my case should be "G:".....no drive
letter is shown at all. Strangely it shows up in DOS tho' and even more
strange is that it works OK and a drive letter shows up on any other machine
I have tried it on!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated
