Thanks to everyone who helped to solve my problem..... glad to say it is now
solved.
Keith, in your last mail you asked if I had TweakUIXP, I have and went into
it and found the drive wasn't there so I simply highlighted (checked) the
drive letter which was allocated, and as seen in "Computer Management"...now
all is well ! Thank you all once again.
Now - whilst I have your attention, what would be involved in upgrading the
USB's in my Toshiba laptop to USB2....is it simply a matter of a driver or
some other piece of software or is it much more involved, bearing in mind
it's a laptop we are talking about. Whilst working on the innards of a
desktop machine holds no fears for me, a laptop is another story.
