Crackerjack is a fine additon in handling PDFs. Although it can change RGB to CMYK,  it is primarly a print utility. The most comprehensive editing plug in is Pitstop. QBT is also a pretty neat. We have both, and actually see QBT being used a lot because of it's simplicty.
 
I strongly suggest you download the free 30 day full function trial of Pitstop. Crackerjack and QBT also offer demos, but as I recall, they do not allow usable output. Also, at about $200 QBT is the least expensive of the group.
