No, not slide transitions.  There are a number of them that aren't mapped
at all (Flashes, Fly from Bottom/Left/Top/Right) and some of the others are
the best PDF approximation of the original PPT transition.

Yes, I did some more testing and there are indeed some that aren't direct and end up getting mapped - but it's a LOT less than in Acro5.

When I tested this, it didn't handle that at all, but created a bogus link
where the text box I'd applied the flyins to appeared.

Strange. You are viewing the presentations full screen in Acrobat 6?!?!
