Boz,

If the "evolution" of the K-mount is a fact of a matter, why not to
introduce all necessary changes to it already now (to support IS/USM etc.)?
Changing the mount gradually is like cutting dog's tail piece by piece. Look
@ Canon - they did it one day and no visible changes anymore for almost 20
years.
Waiting, waiting, always waiting... Wasn't it the reason, why you have moved
towards Canon, BTW? :)

I now have 2 systems too - P. & C. And can compare both.
I can live without eye-control and with just one (properly working) focusing
point. But after trying USM and IS I want to see those features in Pentax
too. Sorry to say it, but if Pentax is going to delay those things, I would
be forced to invest my money into expansion of Canon system :(. And I know
for sure that I will not need to buy a new body if I buy a new lens.
