That doesn't make sense since SFW strips out the color profiles. I post all my B&W as greyscakle, not sRGB .... haven't had any complaints yet.
I think you'll find that most programs default to sRGB if there is no colour space info provided. I habitually forget to change my profile to sRGB from ProPhoto prior to saving for web, which makes for an even suckier looking picture than I normally post.
