That depends. Nobody ever accused the 85 f1.2L of being fast. The 50
f1.2L isn't all that much better and the Nikon 50mm f1.4G AF-S is
notably slower than its predecessor.  The big boys tend to prefer slower
but accurate for their portrait lenses.
