I never did answer an off-list e-mail you sent months ago (if I don't answer within a few days they get lost deep deep in my computer, nevermore to see the light of day - sorry about that), but yeah, I've got a road frame - hoping to get it together in a couple of months, money being a factor in this - that and a slow mechanic. But, yeah, you're right, a freewheel will likely help a great deal. Thanks for that thought.
