When you miss it on the 5n you can immediately see if it misloaded...or are you saying 
it misloaded and didn't indicate it?

I have to admit this happens to me all the time with my 5n, but I've never gone 
shooting thinking I had film advancing when it wasn't. That has only happened to me 
with my 
Program Plus.
