We are also in the Boston area, to the south, along the coast... all's pretty quiet so far. But, school has already been cancelled for tomorrow... luckily, I was able to hide this information from the kids until all their homework was done!
We did a pre-storm gutter clean-out, too. Lots of trees around, hoping this isn't the storm that brings one of them down on the house or cars... Other than that, we've prepared by doing all the laundry & running the vac - advice my mother gave me long ago.
