What Ricoh has done is release new models with minor incremental improvements over existing models the K-30 and the K-5 variants - a sop. Do they take Pentaxians to be stupid idiots or people with mental or photographic skill retardation. Real improvements incorporate the following:- a) a better upgraded Sensor around 24 MP b) higher quality LCD with tilting mechanism c) sturdier doors like on the K20D for the SD Card + the other ports d) better video capability rivaling HD Camcorders e) smarter PTTL Flash that even a novice can use f) WiFi capability g) reliance on more dedicated buttons though this becomes a challenge as the body size shrinks e) multi role camera capable of Sports, Racing events, Birding, etc f) obviously faster low light AF g) no antialiasing filter h) others Regards.
